Many people get cabin fever during the winter months. Put on your coat, a hat and scarf and some gloves and go for a walk. You will be so glad you did.

Get in the car and go to a local shopping mall. It is uplifting just to get out among people. Do some window shopping or just sit and watch the people. Many people get their exercise by walking in these malls. You may not be experiencing as much fresh air as you would in the great outdoors, but at least you are getting out of the house and getting some exercise. You could go to basketball games, go to an ice skating rink and watch the skaters or enjoy an ice hockey game.

Unless you make an effort to get out of the house and try some of these things, you will never know what you are missing out on.
