Understanding the Types of Skis
Even if you are a skier, chances are you hardly know that you need different types of skis for different kind of landscapes. The type of terrain is the most significant factor to adjudge the ski to be used. Pro skiers dedicate most of their time to know the type of ski and suitable land. Here, we are going to discuss the type of ski used by skiers on different places.
1) Freeride is a ski which is wider on under foot and slightly longer than the body. It is ideal for snow skiing. As Freeride is designed to ride in tough conditions and for pro skiers, amateur skiers should not ride it from the very starting. 2) Alpines are fast and best suitable for seasoned skiers. They are used by most of skiers around. Given their durable nature, they are hard to wear and designed to make quick turns on slimy ski trails.

5) Another major form of ski is Freestyle. It is rather a wider ski category and consists of wider platforms such as under foot space, tips and flexes.
