The Wellcraft 260 Coastal
Wellcraft's Coastal is a line of sport cruisers built with the salt water fisherman in mind. This makes boats like the 210 Coastal perfect for fishing along Florida's coasts.
The 21 foot 210 Coastal is packed with features and comfort to enhance your fishing trip. Wellcraft describes this boat as maneuverable, efficient and easy to haul on a trailer making it a great choice for weekend fishermen. Even though it's small the Wellcraft 210 Coastal can come with a full galley and a head in addition to a cabin.
The standard model comes with a v-berth for sleeping or comfortable sitting. Options available for the cabin include a dinette table, a galley package with a sink in the cabin and a transom shower. A stove is also available but no refrigerator is mentioned on Wellcraft's website. A self contained head with dock side pump out is also available.
Some of the features for the 260 Coastal haven't been determined yet. Wellcraft's website notes that Raymarine electronics packages will be available but doesn't say which package will be offered.
One feature that is mentioned is the top, a bimini top comes standard with the 260 Coastal but hard tops are also available. Canvas tops are also mentioned as well. The optional hardtop comes with four rod holders and two spreader lights to make fishing easier.
As with most other Wellcraft boats a large selection of engines is available for the 260 Coastal. The Wellcraft website mentions four Mercury Verado four stroke motors, five Evinrude E-Tec models and Four Yamaha four strokes. One of the Mercury Verado engines the 150 Verado Four Stroke which has the lowest horse power is listed as pending which means it will be available in the future. Three other Verado Four Strokes are currently available at the present moment.
The cockpit has full digital instrumentation to make driving the 260 Coastal easy to operate. Hydraulic tilt steering and submersible rated electrical connections make the electronic system rugged and reliable.
The hull and deck feature lots of extras for both fishermen and water sports lovers. There are stainless steel rod holders and a half dive platform so you can jump right in whenever you want to.
Like all Wellcraft boats the 260 Coastal has three optional hull colors available; Fighting Lady Yellow, Onyx Black and Midnite Blue. There are also three cabin fabric colors available Natural Bisque, Admiral Blue and Adobe Palm.
