It's important to update Mac OS X Snow Leopard on a regular basis.
I spent most of my morning updating my Mac OS X Snow Leopard operating system that is said to enhance the stability, compatibility, and security. The updates which are available for free on Apple's website in a download "combo," includes all updates and fixes for any version of Snow Leopard Mac users might have.
I advise if you are a Mac owners go and chose "Software Update" from the Apple menu, a function that will also look for updates for other Apple applications a user may have installed on their computer. From a quick preview there has been improvement on reliability with Microsoft Exchange servers, performance of some image-processing operations in iPhoto and Aperture. Am wowed by improved stability and performance of graphics applications and games, Ethernet internet connection reliability, dragging contacts from Address Book to iCal, Wikipedia information where it may not display correctly in Apple's Dictionary application.
There is significant improvement on reliability with Bluetooth Braille displays and pairing with Magic Trackpad.Also there is welcome changes especially while syncing between Apple's Address Book application and Google services. Security seems to have been addressed as well. Apple advises that Mac owners back up the files on their computer to an external hard drive before downloading the update but i did not. I also realised that there is a security update for Leopard, the previous version of Mac OS X.I advice you update yours its important and more secure.
