Toyota Tacoma repackaged for ultimate truck experience
As you know if you live in Waukegan, trucks are a must. Thankfully, then, Toyota has two new models of the popular Tacoma to help you live your life in increased style and comfort. The first model of the 2011 Tacoma is the T|X. This model, along with the T|X Pro, are molded after the 2009 T|X concept that appeared at the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show. In the two years since, the people at Toyota have been working hard to turn this concept package into a reality.
First and foremost, the important information – both the T|X and the T|X Pro packages can be added to the Tacoma V6 Access Cab and V6 Double Cab, including the 4x2 PreRunner and the 4x4 models. For those of you who are not literate in car-lingo - that means the Tacoma can officially be considered the most competent off-roading vehicle Toyota offers today. Road closed in Northern Wisconsin? Not anymore.
Now for the specifics – expect Waukegan trucks sporting the T|X package to give off a sporty vibe thanks to 265/70R16 BF Goodrich Rugged Trail tires, black tube steps, a shiny stainless steel exhaust tip, TRD 16-inch black alloy bead-lock wheels, and even artistic side graphics. Toyota is offering the T|X package for a mere $1,699. If you were to add all of these details individually, the total would be more than $2,400.
The T|X Pro package is also priced at the meager $1,699 price tag and again saves the customer over $720 when considering each customization individually. This package is performance-driven and includes a TRD cat-back performance exhaust system for that ever-coveted truck rumble, along with a little extra power. Both packages are covered under a 36,000/three-year comprehensive vehicle limited warranty. The T|X Pro package was available beginning last month, while the T|X package will not be available until September.
The unique features these packages add to a base Tacoma are incredible and, in addition, the pricing for these packages is unbelievable. And since the Toyota Tacoma is the best-selling compact pickup truck in America, don't be surprised to see more and more Tacoma cars in the form of used cars, Libertyville and beyond, as people trade in their old Tacoma for a 2011 model complete with the T|X or T|X Pro packages.
So what are you waiting for? Head to your neighborhood Toyota dealer and pick your favorite combination of the Tacoma truck and T|X package. Wisconsin boating season is coming to a close, but that means hunting and snowmobiling seasons are just around the corner.
