The GoPro HD Motorsports Hero is an onboard and still photo racing camera that also takes video; it's actually a wearable sports camera with full 1080 pixel high definition resolution, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack, a 170-degree lens, and a 5MP sensor.
There's a mount kit included so you can put on your motorcycle, helmet, plane, car, jet ski, ATV, snowmobile -- you name it; you can even put it on your boat (yes, it's water resistant). It also has video capability with 60 frames a second speed. This is probably the top-notch camera out there, plus it's mountable or wearable for a variety of environments.

GoPro HD Motorsports Hero is not only mountable; it also has a quick release design that means you can reposition the camera as you need to around your vehicle, to get video that is high-resolution, high quality and professional from a variety of different angles.
The camera is very sturdy, and if you wish, you can mount it on a handlebar with an optional handlebar mount or one of several other mounting options included. Truly a "take it with you anywhere" camera, no matter where you go. Its removable high-impact polycarbonate case means it'll be protected even with very rough treatment.
Video quality is top-notch, and playback is amazing, too. With such a wide view lens, you don't miss much if anything. Daytime video is absolutely pristine; that goes for having video going when your bike is in motion.
You can shoot automatic 5MP time lapse photos at 2, 5, 10, 30 or 60-second intervals, hands-free. All you do is press once and you can record up to 2.5 hours, with high-resolution photos that are "poster print" quality.
You can record up to 2 1/2 hours on a single charge or nine hours total on a 32 GB SD card (the card is not included, but you can purchase it separately).
When it's locked into its waterproof pack, there is no wind noise, which makes sound quality as good as anything gets, too -- that includes situations where you're going at 85 miles an hour on your bike or boat. You hear the motor, not the wind.
It comes with a one-year warranty.
Disadvantages

Night video and picture quality could still be improved, although it's at least as good as anything else out there right now -- and again, because it takes video "on the move" that's of high-quality, you're really not going to do better for a camera of this price (retailing for about $299).
Conclusion
You're not going to find a better camera that takes high-quality video and high-resolution photos for a better price (about $300 retail). Truly, GoPro HD Motorsports Hero is worth every penny.
