The Donjoy Armor Professional Knee Brace with Fourcepoint is a ski brace which is suitable for everyone up to a professional athlete level. The ski brace is ideal for injuries to the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and for hyperextension and is the only hinge clinically proven to protect the ACL. The Donjoy Armor with Fource Point has the Donjoy Fource Point Hinge Technology which has four points of leverage. This works by dampening knee joint extension which improves the mechanical performance of the ski brace while reducing shear forces at the knee.
The Donjoy Armor with Fource Point ski brace is ideal for skiing and performs 3 critical functions in protecting the knee joint.
- The Donjoy Armor with Fource Point Ski brace reduces the time spent near full extension or in the ‘at risk’ position
- The ski brace increases the posterior load applied by the brace on the tibia to prevent anterior tibial translation
